Elizabeth Busch

Co-Founder and Partner

A world-class event producer, Elizabeth’s approach is rooted in the belief that balancing creativity with logistical precision—big ideas meet trains running on time—creates amazing events. A strong strategic planner, Elizabeth’s creativity and organization bring communities together and brands to life with meticulous execution. For over a decade, she has produced events for clients such as Fortune, Inc., Compliance Week, New York State, Fast Company, and Baruch College at the CUNY.

Prior to co-founding The Event Studio, Elizabeth founded Black Sheep Studios in 2005, which partnered with Conference Solutions to produce events, and in 2008 became The Event Studio. She previously headed up live events for Fast Company and Inc. magazines, pioneering innovative event design with landmark conferences including RealTime and The Advance. Before joining Fast Company, Elizabeth was on staff at The Atlantic Monthly.

Anne Frey-Mott

Co-Founder and Partner

An expert at architecting details, Anne designs and executes flawless meetings that inspire. She has been in the business for 20 years, overseeing events for clients including Wells Fargo Bank, The NFL Players Association, Credit Suisse First Boston, Sequoia Capital, Summit Partners, Thomas Publishing, Red 7 Media, Inc. and Fast Company magazines, Robert Mondavi, Source Media, Creative Good, Interactive Advertising Bureau and the NYU Departments of Tax, Law & Finance.

Prior to co-founding The Event Studio in 2008, Anne founded Conference Solutions in 1997 and continues to serve as President. Conference Solutions provides venue research, site-selection, and contract-negotiation services. Anne previously served as National Sales Manager for Ritz Carlton San Francisco.

Beckie Jankiewicz

Beckie Jankiewicz

Co-Founder and Partner

Passionate, creative, and solutions-oriented, Beckie thinks outside the box to design and execute events that deliver on her clients’ visions. She is a master multi-tasker with a unique expertise in project- and client-management. For more than 15 years, she has executed impeccable meetings and events for top-tier clients such as ArcSight, an HP Company, Compliance WeekFortune, Bluewolf and the Mobile Marketing Association.

Prior to co-founding The Event Studio in 2008, Beckie served as Director of Events for Fast Company and Inc. magazines, where she produced the annual Inc. 500 Conference and Awards Ceremony. Previously, she was Director of Operations for the Women’s Leadership Exchange, overseeing logistics for the organization’s national, multi-market programs. She has also held event roles at PC Forum, Job Expo International and the SOHO Summit.

Lisa Bonini

Lisa Bonini

Senior Director, Event Management

Lisa brings years of global experience in event management as a senior member of The Event Studio and Conference Solutions team. Her expertise lies in site selection, logistics, and detailed project management. Lisa has lead engagements for clients including the NFL Players Association, Thomas Publishing Company, Sequoia Capital, MDB Capital, Liolios Group, and Inc.

Always cool under pressure, Lisa draws on her background in hospitality management to add just the right touch to every event. Her strategic insights and experience over the course of her career ensure her clients’ events deliver on business objectives every time.

Rebecca Smith

Rebecca Smith

Managing Director

Rebecca’s expertise is in operations, creative problem solving, and project management. She utilizes her client management skills and global event-planning experience to develop a customized approach to all events to achieve the client’s vision.

Prior to joining The Event Studio, Rebecca was the Director of Global Events at the Mobile Marketing Association and prior to that she worked at the William J. Clinton Foundation, where she served as an events and marketing consultant, facilitating special projects for various departmental groups as required by the Office of the President.

Nora Neustadt

Senior Event Manager

Nora learned the ropes of event planning with Inc. Magazine, planning the Magazine’s national conferences and regional networking events. While at Inc. she worked onsite managing speakers like Bill Clinton and hosting black tie gala dinners for 2,000. Nora has a passion for solving problems onsite and long hours at conferences around the world. Before event planning, she worked in the NFL, helping to move the New York Jets and their fans into MetLife stadium. Nora works on overall project execution with a focus on content development and execution.

Senior Event Manager

Lindsay has a passion for logistics and project management that has driven her to a career in events. In addition to creative problem-solving, Lindsay enjoys cultivating and managing relationships with clients. Working as a partner and extension to your team, she will ensure support and flawless execution with the many Event Studio events. Prior to joining The Event Studio, Lindsay managed relationships with clients such as Pfizer, Kohl’s Department Stores and General Mills.

Carla Pacheco

Carla Pacheco

Senior Event Manager

With more than eighteen years of experience employing her talents across all facets of event management, Carla is an experienced problem solver able to tackle any unforeseen logistical challenges.  She has a wide range of event experience under her belt and the kind of “can do” attitude necessary to produce events with style and flair, never losing sight of the client’s goals.  Carla is creative, innovative, flexible and enthusiastic in her approach to event management.  A lifelong learner, Carla is a Certified Meetings Manager and Certified Meeting Professional with a degree in Event Management; an accomplished and passionate event professional with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Prior to TES, Carla masterminded spacecraft and satellite launch events for Lockheed Martin with dozens of international dignitaries, media and the world watching.  She also managed several corporate sales, training, leadership and incentive events for Arrow Electronics.

Eliza Stave

Event Manager

Eliza has a passion for problem-solving, event logistics, and site selection. Her work at The Event Studio starts during the site selection process but doesn’t end there—she works to ensure client satisfaction on many of The Event Studio events. Prior to joining The Event Studio, Eliza worked for The Seattle Jewish Film Festival, The Israeli Athletic Association (managing runners for the Tiberius Marathon), and most recently, as Program Director for The Kitchen, an experimental startup community based in San Francisco.

Registration and Event Manager

Allie’s enthusiasm for customer experience has driven her career in registration and client management. In addition to project oversight and logistics, her passion lies in guest relations, customer retention and hotel block management. Her experience in event planning began as a Page at NBCUniversal, followed by a role as Senior Manager of Special Events at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, where she truly developed her passion for working with people. Prior to joining the team at The Event Studio, Allie was the Executive Relations Manager for Fortune Conferences at Time Inc.

Natalie Wright

Natalie Wright

Event Manager

Throughout her career, Natalie has gone from managing travel accommodations, security, and VIP guests for a team of Netflix executives touring South America for a product launch, to producing tour events with VIP Nation for JayZ & Beyonce, Lana Del Rey, and Slipknot. She has also teamed up on music festivals such as: Outside Lands, Treasure Island Music Festival, Grapes of Rock, and O’Reilly’s Oysterfest. But her diverse experience doesn’t stop there. She has also produced experiential marketing, sporting, political, fundraising, corporate, and media events.

Natalie can be described as a highly motivated individual with a “make it happen” attitude. She loves efficient logistics and is great at problem-solving on the fly.

Brittany Collings

Brittany Collings

Event Manager

Brittany is known for her dedication to, and exuberance for, creating positive lasting impressions. A creative, solutions-oriented thinker, she has excelled in producing large live events for nearly 14 years. Early in her career she managed TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis from construction into operation. It was here that Brittany discovered her passion for logistics as Operations Manager. She was a integral member of a team that produced their first Monday Night NFL Football game just under one week following the collapse of the Metro Dome. After hosting U2 as the Stadium’s first concert, Brittany was recruited by the world’s largest entertainment company, Live Nation. Here she produced over 300 concerts, festivals and stadium shows for acts such as: Prince, Madonna, Beyoncé, Luke Bryan and One Direction. Prior to joining TES, Brittany was an Associate Producer for the Salesforce World Tour. Brittany’s vast production, facilities management, and events expertise coupled with her enthusiasm bring memorable experiences to clients.

Melissa Clement

Senior Operations and Event Manager

After more than 15 years planning and managing events for top high-tech companies, Melissa now makes sure everything runs smoothly from a whole new angle—the backside of event operations.  As the Office Manager, Melissa ensures the staff at The Event Studio have the tools they need to execute flawless events.  Melissa also uses her years of event experience to join select on-site teams for The Event Studio. Prior to  joining the company, Melissa held marketing and event-planning roles at Microsoft, Huntington Reproductive Center, Quest Software, and MorEvents.

Adam Merkel

Event Coordinator

Adam has been planning events for 10 years, ranging from mud runs to professional development seminars, massive dinner parties, and everything in between. Using his logistical know-how and passion for event production, Adam has worked with brands like Jameson, Absolut, and Firefly Music Festival. His wide range of experience includes everything from experiential marketing, sponsorship management, graphic design, and more.

Adam’s strengths lie in venue selection, talent management, on-site coordination, and vendor negotiations. With a background in marketing and a strong “go-getter” mentality, Adam is quick to help you find the best way to reach your target audience and ensure they attend an unforgettable event.
Emily Polson

Event Coordinator

When she found herself taking over the company event calendars and inputting ideas of how things could run smoother at work events, Emily Polson knew a career in event management was right for her. She has a passion for logistics and client relationships. She loves to figure out innovative ways to make the client’s and guest’s experience more than they dreamed it would be. Prior to joining The Event Studio, Emily worked with many organizations including St. Jude Children’s Research and the Merchants of West Wash Park.

Mike Thorp

Operations Manager

Mike has dedicated his career to improving the operations and business support capacity of diverse organizations across the country. With an extensive background in U.S. politics, he has worked with high-level operations and event teams on a national scale and applies this experience to The Event Studio’s back end support structure. His expertise lies in supply logistics, applied technology, remote team support, and problem-solving. Prior to joining The Event Studio, Mike was the Deputy National Operations Director for Sen. Bernie Sanders’ campaign for the U.S. Presidency.

Ann Bonner

Ann Bonner

Content

Ann has managed speakers including former President Bill Clinton and Home Depot co-founder Bernie Marcus. Ann joined The Event Studio team at its founding and has contributed to a number of successful events. Ann was previously a key part of the editorial and event teams at Inc. In her spare time, Ann is an accomplished actress and singer and performs throughout New York and New Jersey—when she’s not working events. She also serves as the Assistant Artistic Director of The Actor’s Project NYC.

Lyndsey Cronk

Lyndsey Cronk

Marketing and Copywriting

After a decade in investment banking at Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, and Deutsche Bank, where she ran corporate-events departments and created high-level events for A-list client deals, Lyndsey left to pursue a career in journalism and has been published in myriad magazines, including Marie Claire, Details, and Red Herring, as well as writing marketing campaigns for clients including National Panasonic and George P. Johnson. Later, she worked as a producer for a boutique stock-photography agency in Singapore, later running that company’s sales efforts, after which she moved to Syria and worked as the lifestyle columnist for the local paper, Baladna, in Damascus. When turmoil broke out in that country, she moved to India to work as the Volunteer Program Director for Rising Star Outreach, an NGO that helps children from leprosy colonies receive health care and education. Lyndsey brings a natural enthusiasm and exacting awareness of client needs to each of the projects she works on.

Heather is a design guru with a keen eye for detail. For more than a decade, she has contributed to the success of corporate and social events throughout the country. She prides herself on client satisfaction and achieves success through genuine care for her clients, strong communication, and adept organizational skills. Heather, an entrepreneur with a passion for all things creative, founded her own design firm, All Set in 2009. Heather’s enthusiasm for the event industry shows with her work for The Event Studio.

Gina is a content expert who brings the perfect mix of speakers and flow to a range of events on behalf of The Event Studio. As a speaker specialist, Gina focuses on building agendas, recruiting speakers, negotiating contracts, as well as preparing speakers and managing on site. With more than 10 years of experience producing conferences for clients including Compliance Week, Fast Company, The Interactive Advertising Bureau, and Fortune, Gina delivers custom content, managing both the ideas and the process as our team creates your conference.

Project Management and Content

As one of the original team members at Fast Company, Dawn helped design, develop, and oversee the incredibly successful Live Events group. At Fortune, Dawn served as Director of Content and Development, and worked closely with the editorial team to develop the magazine’s content into such successful conferences as the Fortune Global Forum, the Most Powerful Women’s Summit, and the Brainstorm series. More recently, Dawn has worked on a vast variety of marketing and branding programs including helping manage the Time 100 event, which celebrates and honors the 100 Most Influential People in the World, and MasterCard International, where she helped design and execute internal diversity programs.

Danna is a marketing communications expert with a proven track record for fueling successful branding strategies and integrated marketing campaigns.  Skilled at crafting relationships, executing long-term strategies and supporting national sales programs; Danna combines event marketing, public relations and strategic marketing skills to deliver creative programs with measurable results for events produced by The Event Studio. She has executed successful campaigns for clients including: International Event & Exhibition Management (IEEM), Henriot Inc., a boutique wine importer and Complexity, New Zealand Fine Wine, 21 of New Zealand’s best wineries working together to establish their nation’s credentials in the world of fine wine.
