Elizabeth Busch

Co-Founder and Partner

A world-class event producer, Elizabeth’s approach is rooted in the belief that balancing creativity with logistical precision—big ideas meet trains running on time—creates amazing events. A strong strategic planner, Elizabeth’s creativity and organization bring communities together and brands to life with meticulous execution. For over a decade, she has produced events for clients such as Fortune, Inc., Compliance Week, New York State, Fast Company, and Baruch College at the CUNY.

Prior to co-founding The Event Studio, Elizabeth founded Black Sheep Studios in 2005, which partnered with Conference Solutions to produce events, which in 2008 became The Event Studio. She previously headed up live events for Fast Company and Inc. magazines, pioneering innovative event design with landmark conferences including RealTime and The Advance. Before joining Fast Company, Elizabeth was on staff at The Atlantic Monthly.

Anne Frey-Mott

Co-Founder and Partner

An expert at architecting details, Anne designs and executes flawless meetings that inspire. She has been in the business for 20 years, overseeing events for clients including Wells Fargo Bank, The NFL Players Association, Credit Suisse First Boston, Sequoia Capital, Summit Partners, Thomas Publishing, Red 7 Media, Inc. and Fast Company magazines, Robert Mondavi, Source Media, Creative Good, Interactive Advertising Bureau and the NYU Departments of Tax, Law & Finance.

Prior to co-founding The Event Studio in 2008, Anne founded Conference Solutions in 1997 and continues to serve as President. Conference Solutions provides venue research, site-selection, and contract-negotiation services. Anne previously served as National Sales Manager for Ritz Carlton San Francisco.

Beckie Jankiewicz

Beckie Jankiewicz

Co-Founder and Partner

Passionate, creative, and solutions-oriented, Beckie thinks outside the box to design and execute events that deliver on her clients’ visions. She is a master multi-tasker with a unique expertise in project- and client-management. For more than 15 years, she has executed impeccable meetings and events for top-tier clients such as ArcSight, an HP Company, Compliance WeekFortune, Bluewolf and the Mobile Marketing Association.

Prior to co-founding The Event Studio in 2008, Beckie served as Director of Events for Fast Company and Inc. magazines, where she produced the annual Inc. 500 Conference and Awards Ceremony. Previously, she was Director of Operations for the Women’s Leadership Exchange, overseeing logistics for the organization’s national, multi-market programs. She has also held event roles at PC Forum, Job Expo International and the SOHO Summit.

Senior Director, Event Management

Lisa brings years of global experience in event management as a senior member of The Event Studio and Conference Solutions team. Her expertise lies in site selection, logistics, and detailed project management. Lisa has lead engagements for clients including the NFL Players Association, Thomas Publishing Company, Sequoia Capital, MDB Capital, Liolios Group, and Inc.

Always cool under pressure, Lisa draws on her background in hospitality management to add just the right touch to every event. Her strategic insights and experience over the course of her career ensures her clients’ events deliver on business objectives every time.

Rebecca Smith

Managing Director

Rebecca’s expertise is in operations, creative problem solving, and project management. She utilizes her client management skills and global event-planning experience to develop a customized approach to all events in order to achieve the client’s vision.

Prior to joining The Event Studio, Rebecca was the Director of Global Events at the Mobile Marketing Association and prior to that, worked at the William J. Clinton Foundation, where she served as an events and marketing consultant, facilitating special projects for various departmental groups as required by the Office of the President.

Tara Mitchell

Senior Director, Operations

As an operations wizard, “Process sets you free,” has been Tara’s mantra for over a decade during her ascendency within the world of print and digital publishing. She has developed revenue-generating concepts and partnerships in roles that have encompassed sales strategy & ideation, brand marketing, business development, team & account management, event marketing, and event activations. She is extremely organized, has a keen attention to detail and the flexibility to work across a wide range of business ventures.

Tara has over 20 years experience in print and digital publishing for major brands. She most recently served as Publisher of Mental Floss and VP of Marketing for both The Week and Mental Floss. Prior to this, Tara was the Executive Marketing Director at Fast Company, where she developed longstanding event franchises including Innovation Uncensored and Innovation by Design Awards. Previously, she was an Associate Marketing Manager at Wired Magazine.

Nora Neustadt

Content Director and Senior Event Manager

Nora learned the ropes of event planning with Inc. Magazine, planning the Magazine’s national conferences and regional networking events. While at Inc. she worked onsite managing speakers like Bill Clinton and hosting black tie gala dinners for 2,000. Nora has a passion for solving problems onsite and dedicates long hours at conferences around the world. Before event planning, she worked in the NFL, helping to move the New York Jets and their fans into MetLife stadium. Nora works on overall project execution with a focus on content development and execution.

Lindsay has a passion for logistics and project management that has driven her to a career in events. In addition to creative problem-solving, Lindsay enjoys cultivating and managing relationships with clients. Working as a partner and extension to your team, she will ensure support and flawless execution with the many Event Studio events. Prior to joining The Event Studio, Lindsay managed relationships with clients such as Pfizer, Kohl’s Department Stores and General Mills.

Allie Keller

Allie’s enthusiasm for customer experience has driven her career in registration and client management. In addition to project oversight and logistics, her passion lies in guest relations, customer retention and hotel block management. Her experience in event planning began as a Page at NBCUniversal, followed by a role as Senior Manager of Special Events at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, where she truly developed her passion for working with people. Prior to joining the team at The Event Studio, Allie was the Executive Relations Manager for Fortune Conferences at Time Inc.

Kim has an eagle-eye for detail and a positive can-do attitude no matter the situation. She’s mastered the balance of being personable, lighthearted and professional. Kim’s seasoned background in account management and event production consists of private to large-scale conferences, summits, and national multi-city roadshows. Her well-rounded client and production management skills ensure a flawless experience from planning through execution and will do whatever it takes to make the impossible possible. After working with brands like Google for over 5 years, delivering perfection is ingrained in her DNA.

Natalie Wright

Throughout her career, Natalie has gone from managing travel accommodations, security, and VIP guests for a team of Netflix executives touring South America for a product launch, to producing tour events with VIP Nation for JayZ & Beyonce, Lana Del Rey, and Slipknot. She has also teamed up on music festivals such as: Outside Lands, Treasure Island Music Festival, Grapes of Rock, and O’Reilly’s Oysterfest. But her diverse experience doesn’t stop there. She has also produced experiential marketing, sporting, political, fundraising, corporate, and media events.

Natalie can be described as a highly motivated individual with a “make it happen” attitude. She loves efficient logistics and is great at problem-solving on the fly.

Brittany Collings

Brittany Collings

Event Manager

Brittany is known for her dedication to, and exuberance for, creating positive lasting impressions. A creative, solutions-oriented thinker, she has excelled in producing large live events for nearly 14 years. Early in her career she managed TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis from construction into operation. It was here that Brittany discovered her passion for logistics as Operations Manager. She was a integral member of a team that produced their first Monday Night NFL Football game just under one week following the collapse of the Metro Dome. After hosting U2 as the Stadium’s first concert, Brittany was recruited by the world’s largest entertainment company, Live Nation. Here she produced over 300 concerts, festivals and stadium shows for acts such as: Prince, Madonna, Beyoncé, Luke Bryan and One Direction. 

Prior to joining TES, Brittany was an Associate Producer for the Salesforce World Tour. Brittany’s vast production, facilities management, and events expertise, coupled with her enthusiasm, bring memorable experiences to clients.

Gina Kim

Site Selection & Event Manager

Gina discovered her passion for the events industry during college where she majored in Hospitality, Tourism, and Events Management.  Gina has worked as a Corporate Engagements Planner at CH2M HILL where she supported internal clients with site selection through full service logistics and event execution. She has also worked with Petco Animal Supplies Stores managing logistics on their annual Store Leadership Summit and with the Petco Foundation on their annual fundraisers. At the Colorado Convention Center she supported meeting and event planners execute their vision within the 2.2 million square foot facility in downtown Denver.

After spending time on the venue side Gina reconfirmed her passion for event planning and joined the TES team to reignite her love of planning and executing memorable events through white glove client relations, impeccable organization, and flawless attention to detail.

Site Selection & Event Manager

When she found herself taking over the company event calendars and inputting ideas of how things could run smoother at work events, Emily Polson knew a career in event management was right for her. She has a passion for logistics and client relationships. She loves to figure out innovative ways to make the client’s and guest’s experience more than they dreamed it would be. Prior to joining The Event Studio, Emily worked with many organizations including St. Jude Children’s Research and the Merchants of West Wash Park.

Sarah Wade

Event Manager

Sarah’s passion for design and meticulous focus on the “lost” details lead her to know at the age of 12 that she wanted to do events. She operates under the truth that an event should be designed from a guest perspective, ensuring that her clients will have lasting memories. When it comes to events, that passion shines through in her design boards and her dedication in being the first one on site and the last to leave. Sarah comes from a background of multi-skill sets in working with High Fashion and Luxury Brands such as Dolce and Gabbana, Gucci, and Rolls Royce, to designing and coordinating one of the largest Coachella after parties to date. She loves to collaborate with others to achieve the best possible results. After working with Cory Martin Events in Beverly Hills, Sarah has spent the past few years as a freelance Event Manager working for such clients as Insomniac, Perrier-Jouet, BMW, and Apple.  Her joyful, and energetic attitude is contagious, and her unwavering drive to provide the highest quality product to her clients makes her a true asset in the event world.

Viviana Munoz

Viviana first discovered her love of event planning while working in the hospitality industry.  She takes great pride in creating memorable experiences through the planning and execution of various events. These events ranged from various social engagements to conferences for well-known companies such as Kaiser Northern California and Autodesk. Viviana’s creativity and attention to detail continuously help bring her customer’s vision to life. Prior to joining TES, she served as a Senior Catering Manager for Hilton Worldwide.

Charlie has over 6 years of event experience outside of her degree, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s in Event Management from Central Michigan University. She has a variety of experiences in the event industry, from fine art festivals, to live events, to corporate conferences and tradeshows. She is passionate about creating a great event environment and exceeding guest expectations, all while holding a smile.

With fierce attention to detail and enthusiastic attitude, Jessica is the backbone that supports the entire TES team by ensuring all behind the scenes facets of the business run smoothly.  Jessica has a proven track record of driving business results through strong partnerships, process improvement, analytical aptitude, and ability to proactively resolve issues before they become problems.  Prior to joining The Event Studio, Jessica built a wide breadth of experience supporting the business operations of both small businesses as well as multiple Fortune 500 companies including Intel Corporation and Gap, Inc.

Throughout his career, Winston has worked at theatres in California, North Carolina, and New York City where he has honed his skills in client relations, problem-solving, and attention to detail.  Winston’s passion and dedication to customer satisfaction ensures he will go above and beyond to curate an event that exceeds expectations. He is excited to bring his outgoing and engaging personality and love of event planning to The Event Studio.

Kelsey has 7 years of previous event experience, including 2 years as the Assistant Event Manager for a wedding and event company that encompassed a total of 10 separate venues. She graduated from Indiana University-Purdue University-Indianapolis with a degree in Tourism, Convention, and Event Management. Her experience with venues gives her a greater understanding of how to best utilize a venue’s space to meet the needs of an event. She excels at creating unique solutions to solve problems and enjoys working with clients to bring their event vision to life. She has shown the ability to bring to focus the attention to detail that the event industry demands while still maintaining 100 plus events a year. Prior to her work with The Event Studio she has worked with several event companies, including Monumental Weddings and Events and 317 Events.

When Tiffany started her degrees in Political Science and Communications, she wasn’t expecting to find a new love in the events industry. The passion was founded during her time in the non-profit sector with Invisible Children, grew in the hospitality industry, and cultivated while creating events for Jackalope Brewing Company in Tennessee. With a variety of experience from viral social media campaigns to film festivals, Tiffany’s devotion to creating a memorable occasion has shone through each event.

The University of Texas at Austin graduate with a Bachelor of Journalism in Public Relations began her career managing Continuing Education courses for attorneys through The University of Houston Law Foundation. Jamia then moved into the high-tech industry working for Compaq Computers as their Executive Briefing Center Marketing Manager and later Tradeshow Manager managing their large corporate tradeshow presence. She earned her CTSM (Certified Trade Show Marketer) designation during her time at Compaq Computers.

Jamia moved out west to Los Angeles and later the San Francisco Bay area continuing to develop her event management experience and skills by working for small boutique event agencies as an Independent Planner planning and managing large corporate functions for clients such as Genesys Telecommunications, McKesson Pharmaceuticals and Align Technology (creator of Invisalign, the invisible braces). She returned to Texas after meeting her husband where she started her own small-group destination travel company and continues to plan and manage corporate events across a wide-variety of industries.

With more than 10 years of experience producing conferences for clients including Compliance Week, Fast Company, The Interactive Advertising Bureau, and Fortune, Gina delivers custom content, managing both the ideas and the process as our team creates your conference.

As one of the original team members at Fast Company, Dawn helped design, develop, and oversee the incredibly successful Live Events group. At Fortune, Dawn served as Director of Content and Development, and worked closely with the editorial team to develop the magazine’s content into successful conferences such as the Fortune Global Forum, the Most Powerful Women’s Summit, and the Brainstorm series. More recently, Dawn has worked on a vast variety of marketing and branding programs including helping manage the Time 100 event, which celebrates and honors the 100 Most Influential People in the World, and MasterCard International, where she helped design and execute internal diversity programs.

She has executed successful campaigns for clients including: International Event & Exhibition Management (IEEM), Henriot Inc., a boutique wine importer and Complexity, New Zealand Fine Wine, 21 of New Zealand’s best wineries working together to establish their nation’s credentials in the world of fine wine.
