Site Selection & Event Manager

The Site Selection & Event Manager is responsible for working with TES event teams to successfully execute simultaneous client events with some project leadership opportunities as well as a leadership role on the Site Selection Team. Key to the position is a proactive and solutions oriented style, excellent communication and computer skills with a rigorous attention to detail.

Team member must have ability to manage multiple demands under pressure, interact with senior management & key vendors, and handle confidential information. This role is full time and will be primarily a work from home position with some travel required

Responsibilities Will Include:

Site Selection Team Lead
Lead the efforts in site selection for multiple clients across The Event Studio and Conference Solutions making sure proper process if followed and find the best options for each event. Clearly communicating with the site selection and commissions team to route commissionable hotel contracts through our system and ensure easy collection.

Research and RFP
As needed research and initiate the Request For Proposal process with event vendors including venue, caterers, florists, photographers, giveaways, gifts and so on as needed.

Vendor Management
Serve as primary contact for vendors including hotels, venues, production companies, freelance staff, photographers, caterers, designers, printers, etc. Ensure that they deliver services on brand and on budget.

Event Support
Support the purchasing and creation of basic event materials. To include researching ideas for event products/gifts, obtaining quotes, managing shipping and billing. Printing basic event materials including name badges, table tents, handouts, and simple inserts.

Provide onsite event management to include client management, food & beverage management, meeting room set-up, and outside vendor management.

Post Event
Reconcile billing and expenses for client and The Event Studio budgets. Manage all post-event follow up to include tipping, thank you notes, and budget reconciliation.

Administrative Support
Working within The Event Studio standard operating procedures you will be responsible for overseeing budget management for specific events, scheduling and taking notes for conference calls with clients, managing timelines for each event. You will also be responsible for managing accurate event-related travel expense reports according to company policy & timelines.


This position is full-time and will work from a home office. Ideal locations are New York/New Jersey, San Francisco, Southern CA or Denver, CO. Salary range for this position is $45,000-$55,000. Please note, The Event Studio operates out of virtual offices with team members spread across the country. Working from home and with a virtual team is a must.
